Wright State University School of Music Audition Dates for Admission and Scholarship Consideration:
January 31st and February 15th, 2025 and by appointment- in person and virtual auditions plus music scholarships are available!
Audition Requirements:
Undergraduate: All major scales, 1-2 pieces showing contrasting styles
Graduate: 2-3 pieces showing contrasting styles, 4 contrasting orchestral excerpts

The Wright State Clarinet Studio is comprised of a diverse group of students studying clarinet performance, music education, and minoring in music. It is our goal that all of our students learn how to be excellent and versatile performers, teachers, and entrepreneurs; a goal realized in the success of our alumni! The studio frequently hosts prominent clarinetists in recitals and masterclasses giving students the opportunity to network and learn from top clarinetists in the profession. The Wright State Winds Festival is an exciting event held annually every November drawing professional and student clarinetists from all over the country to Wright State University.
